Guided by this article and having carefully studied Oleksandr&#8217;s documents, I prepared all the necessary documentation to apply for the extension of benefits,&#8221; <\/em>Tetiana Pliasunova explains.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It turned out that the man&#8217;s payments had been canceled because his information had simply disappeared from the Unified Register of ATO Participants. So, the lawyer went with the client to the Social Security Department to make sure that all the necessary renewal procedures were carried out per the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Oleksandr was never told the reasons for his data&#8217;s disappearance from the Unified Register of ATO Participants, a few days later, he received an official notification of the restoration of all his privileged rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><em>&#8220;The man was very thankful for the help and support. He said he now felt protected in a fundamental matter, too. This case once again confirms the importance of timely legal assistance and a lawyer&#8217;s involvement in protecting combatants&#8217; rights and using the relevant legislation to achieve justice,&#8221; <\/em>concludes Tetiana Pliasunova.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The material was created with the support of GlobalGiving, an international charity platform, and the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
