Internally displaced mother was helped to promptly collect long-overdue child support

Mrs. Olena, Vasylivka City, Zaporizhzhia Region, turned to the STEP Non-Governmental Organization for help with child support collection issue.
The woman, explained, that after she and her son moved to a new place of residence due to war, it became way more difficult to support child all by herself. Given, the boy’s father does not fulfill his obligations and has long owed a considerable amount of child support.
Mr. Oleh shared, that he misses his son tremendously, and would love to communicate more. But his wife is unwilling to ensure constant connection. This, according to the man, makes it difficult to maintain the important emotional bound between him and his son.
Anton Stasik, Lawyer of the Organization, provide consultation for Mrs. Olena, helped her to gather all needed documents, and to file for court:
““In the process of case preparation, we collected and submitted evidence confirming the fact of failure to fulfill the alimony obligations, including correspondence with the debtor and bank statements,” the Lawyer clarifies.
The result was achieved within a month – the Court ruled on the child support recovery.
A positive outcome in child support cases depends on the correct determination of the scope of evidence and the drafting of a statement of claim or application for a court order.
