The fifth year of full-scale war is changing the logic of humanitarian work. Funding is shrinking, needs are shifting — and within the same oblast, the gap in access to assistance between a large city and a small frontline village can be immense. Some organizations and communities are still operating in the logic of 2022: reactively, without strategy, without shared pathways.
The Legal Development Network invites you to the expert dialogue “Strategic Planning and Adaptability: How to Move from Reactive to Recovery-Oriented Assistance”. The event will be held in partnership with the Czech humanitarian organization People in Need and with the support of the UK Government.
What we will discuss
How to build recovery strategies when one community is in crisis mode while a neighboring one is already thinking about development. How Link platform data helps identify “invisible” needs and enables realistic planning. Where the boundaries lie between the mandates of authorities, large international organizations, and small local NGOs — and how to connect rather than pit them against each other. How to share not only success stories but also failures — in order to learn systematically.
Who will find this relevant
Representatives of international, national, and local organizations, communities, regional development agencies, and others.
