The logistics and coordination center to help Kyiv residents needs support

As part of the #StandWithUkraine humanitarian program, the Legal Development Network cooperated with “Kyivavtopark”, BLS Car Rental company, TOKA Company to create a logistics and coordination center to help Kyiv residents.

The team of managers, drivers, and volunteers consists of more than 300 people. The center operates on the basis of 7 warehouses in different parts of Kyiv. They process requests for assistance and deliver them to recipients. Thanks to this work, the Ukrainian military and Kyiv territorial defense units have the necessary equipment, and social institutions (shelters, orphanages, hospitals) – things, medicines, and food.

Volunteers work almost around the clock. During the day, hundreds of orders are processed, humanitarian aid is received in warehouses, sorted, and sent to recipients. At night, make delivery schedules, prepare photos and video reports on the work done. They can be viewed on the volunteer association’s Facebook page.

A team of volunteers has already purchased 400 units of protective vests and is raising funds for plates that can be used to complete them. In addition, 1,500 kg of groats were purchased for the military unit and the IDPs shelter in Kyiv. You can learn more about the work of the center on *Facebook*

In order for the center to work stably, it needs support. We have to order a lot abroad, buy fuel and car parts.

Today, the Legal Development Network has already raised $ 3,600 (by March 11, 2022) to support the work of the center. We are grateful to all philanthropists from Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Poland for their support!
