In 2023-2024, the Legal Development Network ( LDN) together with the Czech humanitarian organization «People in Need» worked on strengthening the capacity of local governments, volunteer groups, and local activists to respond to the challenges of the full-scale war, coordinate and increase the
effectiveness of humanitarian response in Kherson and Mykolaiv Oblasts.
The development of recovery and socio-economic development strategy for the affected Shevchenkove and Mishkovo-Pohorilove communities of Mykolaiv Oblast and Bilozerka community of Kherson Oblast is one of the components of this initiative.
