The logistics and coordination center helps affected cities and the Ukrainian military

40th day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. Since the beginning of the fundraiser, 22 philanthropists from the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Poland, and Ukraine have responded to support the logistics and coordination center to help Kyiv residents Ukraine Alive 2022. Some of them re-sent funds. We appreciate and are grateful for each donation. 

The team of managers, drivers, and volunteers of Ukraine Alive 2022 began to help not only Kyiv and Kyiv region residents, but also the cities that have suffered the most from the war.

From the first day of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, the city of Slavutych was in isolation, surrounded by enemy troops. But its inhabitants continued to march in the square and resist the invaders, heroically proving every day that Slavutych is Ukraine. The city is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe. The shops have been empty for a long time, and bread is issued on coupons. What is imported is catastrophically lacking for its 25,000 inhabitants. Today the city is already liberated. A few days ago, the drivers of Ukraine Alive 2022 delivered medicines, food, hygiene products, a generator, flour, and yeast to the city through fields and rain-washed roads that were temporarily out of the control of the Ukrainian government so that Slavutych residents could bake bread. Now all this will be distributed centrally to city residents.

The logistics center delivered 1,190 portions of dry soups to the Ukrainian military. You have to pour boiling water over it, and the delicious borsch or rozsolnyk will be ready in a few minutes. The batch of dry soups was prepared by the partner cooking group “Vesna” (Spring).

In addition, Ukraine Alive 2022 personally handed over more than three hundred bulletproof vests to Ukrainian soldiers. Each military application is meticulously reviewed by volunteers. They help first of all those who are directly in the zone of active hostilities.

Plate carriers and bulletproof vests were handed over to Kharkiv, to soldiers of the Azov Volunteer Regiment from the city of Irpin, and for territorial defense.

Chernihiv, which has no water, heat, and light, needs medicines, painkillers, generators, food, and water containers. Food and hygiene products have already been delivered to the city. For the city’s needs, the volunteer organization received medical and humanitarian aid from Germany and has already begun collecting other equipment.

Ukraine Alive raises UAH 400,000 for the purchase of turnstiles and completes fundraising for the urgent purchase of 1,000 bulletproof vests for the Ukrainian military.

The collection of necessary food and hygiene products for Bucha is also underway.
